With over 30 years of experience, we provide quality construction services throughout the Front Range of Colorado, including earthwork, grading, patching, paving, and a full range of building materials.

Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong capacity for relationship building and thrives to identify and secure new leads. You will be responsible for proactively researching potential clients and conducting cold outreach to establish connections within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads to support business growth.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understand their needs and how our services can meet them.
  • Develop partnerships with local contractors, property managers, and other industry professionals and maintain relationships for repeat business opportunities.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with management to develop and refine business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Proposal Development:

  • Assist in preparing and delivering compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure alignment on project deliverables.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction or paving industry.
  • Strong prospecting skills with a track record of successful lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
